TIS THE SEASON TO TINCTURE!!

Tis The Season To Tincture!
Cannabis tinctures are liquid cannabis extracts that can be used in various ways, offering flexibility in how the effects are experienced. The method of use can influence how quickly the effects are felt and how long they last. If you are new to medical cannabis or are struggling to find the right dose, Tinctures are for you. With most tinctures, 1 DROP is 1 Milligram. This gives you complete control of the dose and allows you to increase the dose gradually.
Sublingual Administration
Using a cannabis tincture sublingually involves placing drops under the tongue. This method is often chosen for a relatively faster onset of effects compared to oral ingestion.
To use a tincture sublingually:
Shake the bottle to ensure the contents are evenly distributed.
Use the provided dropper to measure the desired amount.
Place the liquid directly under the tongue.
Hold the liquid there for a period, typically between 30 and 90 seconds, before swallowing any remaining amount.
With sublingual administration, effects are typically felt within 30 to 45 minutes and can last for 6 to 8 hours.
Oral Ingestion
Alternatively, cannabis tinctures can be taken orally by swallowing the liquid directly or mixing it with food or drinks. This method generally leads to a delayed onset of effects but can result in a longer duration.
To take a tincture orally:
Add the measured amount to beverages such as coffee, tea, or smoothies, or incorporate it into food items like salad dressings. Avoid exposing the tincture to high heat during cooking, as this may affect the cannabinoids.
The liquid can also be placed directly in the mouth and swallowed.
When ingested orally, effects typically begin within 45 minutes to 2 hours and can last for 4 to 8 hours or longer.
